The lower floor will hold 240 and it has a full-size kitchen that is available to be rented. The sole meeting room has a fireplace with a large boardroom style table and can hold up to 20 people. Tables and chairs are available for use, at no charge. The Sardis Sports Complex, located at 5725 Tyson Road hosts, three full size sheets of ice, ideal for hosting large sporting events all year round. The Chilliwack Minor Hockey, Cheam Figure Skating Club, Chilliwack Ringette Association, Chilliwack Minor Lacrosse, the Sardis Fliers Speed Skating Club several hockey academies and a local junior hockey program are just a few of the organizations who call the Sardis Sports Complex home. With several multipurpose and retrofitted rooms, the Sardis Sports Complex has rental spaces available to host meetings, social gatherings and birthday parties. The Chilliwack Coliseum is a versatile event and sports facility offering flexible rental options for a wide range of events. With two sheets of ice, including one designed for professional-level hockey, the facility is well suited for hockey tournaments, skating events, practices, and competitions. During the offseason, the ice surfaces can be converted to dry-floor space, providing an adaptable venue for trade shows, exhibitions, tournaments, community events, and other large-scale functions. For the safety of our patrons, effective September 1st, CSA-approved hockey helmets are now required for children 12 years and under participating in City dropin skating programs Helmets remain recommended for all participants, regardless of age or experience. Existing additional equipment requirements for dropin hockey programs remain in effect. Helmets are available to borrow free of charge at the skate shops at both the Chilliwack Coliseum and Sardis Sports Complex. The Coliseum also features two meeting rooms ideal for smaller gatherings of up to 25 people, along with an on-site skate rental shop and multiple private box suites that provide added convenience and premium event experiences.
