10 FALL 2025 WINTER 2026 LEISURE GUIDE Seniors' Resources Society is a charitable organization providing programs, services, resources and activities to seniors 55+. Our goal is to encourage seniors to be active, socialize, learn and access support. Chilliwack & District Seniors' Resources Society Evergreen Hall 9291 Corbould Street Chilliwack, BC V2P 4A6 604-793-9979 H: Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Be Active Activity programs covera range of interests including: Zumba, Walking, Yoga, TableTennis, Strength and Balance, Pickleball, Floor Curling, Dance and Line Dance, Carpet Bowling and Badminton. Meet or make new friends over Cribbage. Many resources and support services are available including: Bereavement Programs, ElderAbuse, Health Support, Home Support, Housing, Medical Equipment, Meal Programs,Transportation and Volunteer Visiting. Education workshops are regularly presented on a variety of issues of concern to seniors. These programs are availableto all local seniors with no membership or fees. Access Support Community Volunteer Income Tax program (for low income seniors or disabled persons), Assistance with Forms, and Snow Angels are programs that provide extra help when it's needed. Bus Excursions Enjoy a concert, event or casino in Vancouver and leave the driving to us. Venture further afield on a 2 or 3 day trip to the Okanagan, Vancouver Island or join a longer excursion, like the Inside Passage, Oregon Coast or international travel. Our tour coordinator has organized and planned getaways like these for many years. Come and join the hundreds of seniors 55+ who enjoy these trips each year. Activities are held at the Evergreen Hall and other City of Chilliwack facilities throughout the city. Society membership is needed for bus trips and activities and other fees may apply.
