This traditional annual “Winter Season” show has become a much-anticipated popular
exhibit with CVAAmembers and the community alike. The topic has remained the same
for the past three years but participating artists and their individual images are as new
and vibrant as ever and will include images and memories from artists who spend the
winter months in warmer climes.

Pierre Tremblay and Sandra Wiens both enjoy working with the physicality of paint but
with different outcomes. Pierre Tremblay has focused on playing with the conventions of
portraiture. Playful extremes in both colours and composition play an important role in

The Chilliwack Gallery is pleased to host the annual Chilliwack Senior High Schools
Annual Art Exhibit and look forward to another exciting show by some of the returning
grade 12 and a whole new group of Grade 10 & 11 students from the three senior High
Schools in District 33. This very popular exhibit is one of the most interesting and creative
RI WKH \HDU DQG UHÀHFWV WKH HQHUJ\ HQWKXVLDVP DQG FUHDWLYH DELOLW\ RI ERWK WKH VWXGHQWV
and their teachers. The artwork displayed covers a wide range of topics and a variety of
media and techniques.
