Irreverently funny and brutally honest,
Where the
Blood Mixes
is an extremely moving story of loss
and redemption. Caught in a shadowy pool of
alcoholic pain and guilt, Floyd is a man who has
lost everyone he holds most dear. After more than
two decades, his daughter Christine, who had been
adopted by a white family, returns home to meet and
confront her father. The show takes us to a deeply
personal story about humanity and survival.

Bruce Horak plays the dreaded disease as
a narcissistic song-and-dance man in a gold
lamé suit - bringing humour to a very tough
subject. Learning that the whole world actually
hates him, he goes on his own journey of
denial, anger, bargaining, and ultimately,
acceptance. Cancer survivor Horak pokes
at our fears in this satirical cabaret, which is
uproariously funny, poignant and personal.
