Chilliwack we have renovated and will be having our grand reopening Friday February 7th at 12:00 pm. Coffee and snacks will be served. This event is accessible, open, inclusive and welcomes all.

Notes:

For over 5 years our dedicated volunteers have worked to ensure we have our store open with friendly service for everyone. Our generous community donors ensure we have good quality items for sale or available for requisition for those in need. While we have always had our requisition program, where we give items away to those in need and we have run our Bad Date Program from the location we are now pleased to announce that our two Women’s Outreach Workers Carrie and Chrissy will now be based out of the downtown location where many of our clients come for help. Ann Davis Transition Society (ADTS) has consistently exemplified leadership in community since 1981. The vision of ADTS is "Communities free from abuse and violence." Initially ADTS was opened to offer shelter and support to women and their children who were leaving abusive situations. The society has grown holistically over the past 39 years to provide an innovative array of services to meet the needs of the community, which include: the Transition House for women and children fleeing abusive and violent situations; a permanent specialized Transition House with 22 beds for single women; women's, men's, children's, youth, couples and family counselling; various groups for both men and women; parenting workshops, including Connect Parenting; and Children In Between. They also provide supervised visits at an accessible cost. We are also the founders of Fraser Valley Marches for Women, an annual event to raise awareness of women’s and girls’ rights. The youth programs educate and support at-risk young men and women to achieve confidence so that their life choices and ability to make those choices are enhanced. The support and education assists them in avoiding gang involvement, sexual exploitation, and drug/alcohol abuse. ADTS youth counsellors are active on a 5 day a week schedule in various schools in the community.
