Work:

The objective of this assignment is to develop a policy for the City to follow with respect to water supply to the agricultural industry within the City of Chilliwack. The key issues to be addressed are determination of water usage by agricultural industries, determination of capacity and water quality of the East Chilliwack aquifer, conduct an assessment for requirement for water treatment and appropriate water treatment technologies, and evaluation of water conservation initiatives.

There are approximately 7,000 ha of agricultural lands in the study area.

The City of Chilliwack requires the services of a consultant to prepare agricultural water supply evaluation report to address the issues identified above.
