Chilliwack is a giving community and we have received many questions about how you can help support recovery efforts. Below is a list of some organizations supporting Chilliwack and BC. Please contact the organizations below for additional information.

Donations of Food and Items
Flood Relief Community Care Centre
Open everyday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Volunteers, donations, food assistance, housing assistance and people willing to help with cleanup are needed. If you are in need, contact them for food assistance, financial assistance, and relief work. Counselling available. For more information:

Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce
The Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Tourism Chilliwack with housing evacuees and all guests finding themselves without shelter in Chilliwack. They are also accepting bottled water for those in need. Call 604-392-1183 between 8:00am to 8:00pm.
City Life Church
Has meals/accommodations and is receiving donation drop-offs at 46641 Chilliwack Central Road. Baby formula and large ziploc bags are some of the items they're collecting.
Kindness Chain Chilliwack
Accepting grocery donations at 5573 Alpine Crescent or 45576 Meadowbrook Drive. (Contact information)

Donate to Organizations Supporting BC Communities

Salvation Army Chilliwack
Salvation Army is asking the community to hold off on physical donations, but instead they are asking for monetary donations for them to purchase exactly what is needed. This gives them 3x the amount with their buying power. Cash or cheques can be dropped off at the Care and Share Centre at 45746 Yale Road. They provide tax receipts for donation amounts over $20.
City Life Church
City Life Church is looking for volunteers for this week’s meal services for those who are still displaced from their homes. Volunteers will need to help with peeling vegetables, clearing tables, cooking, cleaning, etc. If you are able to volunteer please call City Life Church at the 604-792-0694 to sign up. They are located at 46641 Chilliwack Central Road.
