Event: Community Information Meeting on Homelessness

On November 30, 2016, the City of Chilliwack hosted a Community Information Meeting on Homelessness. The purpose of the meeting was to share what all levels of government are doing to address homelessness in Chilliwack. Presentations were provided by the City of Chilliwack, BC Housing, Fraser Health, Chilliwack School District #33 and the RCMP. A question and answer period followed the presentations. Event: The Costs of Homelessness

Chilliwack Healthier Community hosted a panel discussion in partnership with the City of Chilliwack and UFV. The evening featured Judy Graves, Vancouver’s first and only homelessness advocate, as she spoke about the social and economic costs of homelessness.
