Chilliwack SPCA Annual General Meeting Mar 19, 2018 - Mar 19, 2018
Location: Sardis Public Library
Contact: Valerie Maclou
E-Mail: [email protected]
Description:

The BC SPCA’s Chilliwack branch is inviting the public to attend its annual general meeting on Monday, March 19, at The Sardis Public Library, 5819 Tyson Rd, Chilliwack. The meeting will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. “Each year, the BC SPCA helps more than 43,000 abandoned, abused, neglected and injured animals and we could not do this without the incredible support we get from our volunteers and supporters in communities across the province,” said BC SPCA CEO Craig Daniell. “We encourage anyone who wants to make their community safer and more humane for animals to attend their local SPCA’s AGM to learn more about the past year’s activities and to find out how they can be involved in saving animal lives.” The Chilliwack branch will be electing its new community council at the AGM. The featured speaker at this year’s AGM will be Sarah Jones, Regional Manager for the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, and Sheila Kullar, Regional Director for the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley & Sunshine Coast BC SPCA board of directors. They will be delivering a presentation on how we can each make a difference in the animal world and how involvement in the BC SPCA can shape the future of humane communities. For more information, contact Valerie Maclou, Chilliwack Community Council Chair, by email at [email protected]
