1. All events must be open to the community.
2. The City cannot endorse one business over another; therefore, the event cannot benefit any business for financial gain.
3. Business Related Exceptions:
The event is held at a City facility i.e., Heritage Park, Twin Rinks, Leisure Centre, Chilliwack Cultural Centre or Prospera Centre.
The event is for fundraising for a not-for-profit organization and a business is being used as a venue/location for fundraising activities.
4. The event must be within the City of Chilliwack boundaries. If you are unclear as to whether your location is within Chilliwack boundaries, you can visit this map page or call 604.792.9311.
If your event is for financial gain, we would like to direct you to Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation (CEPCO). It is CEPCO’s purpose to facilitate and encourage business in our community and this may be the appropriate organization to contact for your event.

Starts June 8, 2013 Saturdays • 10:00am to 12:30pm 8 Sessions over 10 weeks Instructor: Maria Polatas Price: $180 (taxes included) Price includes 1 bag of clay, glazes and firing. Wheel throwing for beginning pottery students or those wishing to continue to build their skills on the wheel. Students will be taken through the entire process from creating on the wheel to the finishing of their work through glazing and firing.
This is an eight week course, with seven weeks of wheel work and the eighth week for glazing. There will be a one week break between the seventh and eighth class in order for all the work to dry properly prior to firing.
