Starts May 22, 2013 Wednesdays • 6:30pm to 8:30pm 5 Sessions over 6 weeks Instructor: Sue Schellenberg Price: $135 (taxes included) Price includes 1 bag of clay, glazes and firing. Students will be taken through the entire process from creating on the wheel to the finishing of their work through glazing and firing.

There will be a one week break between the fourth and fifth class in order for all the work to dry properly prior to firing.

Starts June 8, 2013 Saturdays • 10:00am to 12:30pm 8 Sessions over 10 weeks
Instructor: Maria Polatas Price: $180 (taxes included) Price includes 1 bag of clay, glazes and firing. Wheel throwing for beginning pottery students or those wishing to continue to build their skills on the wheel.  Students will be taken through the entire process from creating on the wheel to the finishing of their work through glazing and firing.

This is an eight week course, with seven weeks of wheel work and the eighth week for glazing. There will be a one week break between the seventh and eighth class in order for all the work to dry properly prior to firing.

One of the hottest events of the summer in Chilliwack, British Columbia, is the incredible Village Classic Car Show returning to the streets of downtown Chilliwack once again on Sunday, June 23. Stroll the streets of Wellington, Mill, Young, Victoria, and upper Yale and relive the memories of over 300 classic cars. Then, look to the future with our new tuner car section featuring custom builds and awesome audio systems. Car enthusiasts, mark your calendars! Vehicle registration begins at 7:00am at the Landing Sports Centre at 45530 Spadina Avenue. Vehicles will then be escorted to the event venue starting at 9:00am. The 11th Annual Village Classic Car Show comes to life for five hours of free, family fun starting at 11:00am.
