The Robertson Elementary PAC are very excited to announce that we will be fortunate enough to have the amazing John Kaplan perform for us! This spellbinding multi-media show will transports you to a world of wonder and mystery! Your entire family will be gasping in astonishment and rolling in the aisles with laughter... a dazzling experience you'll be talking about long after the final curtain! Our goal with this fundraiser is to raise money for new learning tools for our classrooms such as books and iPads. We would greatly appreciate your support. Thank you! Tickets go on sale March 1st, 2013. Order forms will come home with the students of Robertson Elementary or tickets can be purchased in the office at Robertson Elementary. FOOD MATTERS CHILLIWACK PLANT A ROW GROW A ROW 2013 Kick Off Event and Silent Auction.  When: Saturday, April 20th, 2013 from 1 pm - 4 pm (Rain or Shine).  Who:  Every interested person in Chilliwack is welcome.  Where:  The Salvation Army Thrift Store parking lot, with parking behind the Care and Share Centre, 45746 Yale Rd. Chilliwack B.C.  Why:  A chance for local gardening enthusiasts and first time gardeners alike to come together and enhance their vegetable growing skills and soil health knowledge.  It is also a chance to share and trade seeds for the 2013 growing season and as a community, participate in PAR GAR 2013 for our local Salvation Army Food Bank/Soup Kitchen.  This event includes 3 gardening workshops - join us for what you are interested in: 1:30 pm “How to turn a patch of grass into a thriving garden plot” with FMC.  2 pm join us as we learn from award winning local seasoned gardener, Jack Kouwenhoven, on “Amending the soil for planting & the best methods for healthy vegetables”.  3 pm learn from local gardening expert, Brian Minter, the secrets for success with the most popular and sometimes challenging crops, such as potatoes, other root crops, brassicas, tomatoes and peppers, as well as the best methods of organic pest management.  The first 100 gardening enthusiasts to register in person (starting at 1 pm that day) will receive a complimentary garden starter seed kit, with seeds for use with PAR GAR 2013 and some just for fun!  *There will also be an area set aside for seed trading - please feel free to bring along any garden seeds you wish to trade.

Come to Major League 2 in Chilliwack, for an amazing burger and fries for only $10!  Our portion of the proceeds all go to Care Canada!  Our goal is $500, with this we can buy livestock for families, clean water and food for children, train women to enter the work force or provide education for people who wouldn't normally get the opportunity.  There is a lot we can do with $500 with this charity so help us by inviting all your facebook friends even if you cant make it.  There will also be draws at the pub that night so come have a fantastic meal, bring your friends and have a good time and hopefully win some stuff!
