Work:

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit Proposals from Proponents to enter into a five-year contract for the operation and management of a wood and yard waste Composting Facility in Chilliwack and to carry out all Work in accordance with this RFP and the terms of the Contract.  The work includes the provision of all labour, equipment and services necessary for the operation and management of the Composting Facility on land owned or leased by the Proponent. 

All Proponents must contact the City's Project Manager, Janet DeMarcke, to arrange a private individual meeting to clarify the requirements of the Request for Proposals. 

RFP Documents may be obtained from the City's Main Reception Desk of the City of Chilliwack Municipal Hall or may be downloaded from the City's webpage at www.chilliwack.com/bids.  Inquiries may be directed to the City's Project Manager, Janet DeMarcke at 604-793-2958.

The Proposal must be delivered to the City of Chilliwack at the Main Reception Desk no later than 3:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, June 26, 2007.
