The City of Chilliwack is seeking Requests for Expressions of Interest to design and construct the following works: 

  • Widening of Yale Road from Parr Road to Airport Road to allow for 5 lanes of traffic plus bike paths (approx. 600 meters);
  • Widening of the Chilliwack Creek bridge by approximately 5m to the west.

The objective of the Project is to make the necessary improvements to Yale Road to provide improved vehicular movements and bicycle lanes.

RFEI documents may be picked up at the City's Main Reception desk on or after February 20th, 2007 or may be downloaded from the City's web page at www.chilliwack.com/bids.  Inquiries may be directed to the City's representative, Frank Van Nynatten at 604-793-2954.

The pre-submission meeting will be held at:

Sealed EI's from Respondents clearly marked with the Respondent's name, address, and "2007 Yale Road Improvement Project" shall be received by the undersigned at the office of the City of Chilliwack not later than 3:00 p.m., local time, March 13, 2007.
